INSPIRATIONAL PAGE many things inspire me. below are just a few of the many things that help me be who I am today.
MY FAMILY The Hitter's (a bunch of wacky folks) NEIL, ERICK, MY DAD GAIL, MY MOM TYLER, ME (SHORT HAIR) LUCKY & MAXIE Taken a few years ago.
MY DAD COLORING A STICK...THESE ARE COLLECTOR'S ITEMS... HE SAYS HE IS TIRED AND WANTS TO REST NOW...I TOLD HIM .. "DAD WHO WOULD COLOR THE STICKS LIKE YOU DO THEN" What can be said at this point in my life. I am in Albany, N.Y. and was taking care of my dad while giving my mom a hand and some relief. Care giving can take a great deal out of a person and if anyone out there has gone through the same thing, you know what I mean. Your orders are helping me through this time. My Dad was tube fed and able to eat a little. This man died 8 times before in the hospital, and had a HUGE will to live. He was known as The Energizer Bunny at Albany Med. It makes me feel so blessed to think of him daily. He was weak and slow but still able to have a purpose to get up. He never complained, sat and worked daily on sticks that I continued to create for him to color. It is just a miracle he made it as long as he did. Just think how he would feel if people bought his sticks to add to their collection. Each one of them are so different, and have many to choose from. Much thanks goes to Michelle, Trish, Jill, Eddy Home Health Care, Albany Medical Center, Dr. Palat and the list continues for keeping him with us for so long. Who would have guessed that MY STICKS were an INSPIRATION to his motivation.
My Daddy died on June 12, 2005. He is coloring in heaven and blowing bubbles. I know your having fun. He keeps hiding my tools on me. We miss you so much Daddy. Forever Loved Now my Mom has taken over where he left off...She really enjoys coloring the Hummingbirds and butterflies, but likes the abstract as well. It is very therapeutic and we all know how our parents might need a little therapy. I am blessed!
